Julia earned her BS in Accounting from Roger Williams College in Bristol, RI and has over 20 years experience in the accounting and bookkeeping field. She makes her home in Middletown, CT and started her business in 1998 specializing in working with small to medium size companies assisting them with various accounting and bookkeeping tasks as well as training clients on standard practice of proper record keeping methods. Her bookkeeping experience started in the construction industry where she ran the office for the family business. She was a full charged bookkeeper and office manager and her tasks included accounts payable & receivables, collections, payroll, quarterly filings and sales tax, phones, filing, job costing and budgeting cash flow in addition to working closely with the project managers in keeping the paperwork requirements up to date and processed in a timely manner. She also was responsible for all the financial reporting to various banks, bonding companies and completed all general ledger work for the tax accountants. Julia's favorite part of her business is helping business owners with their financial reporting and saving them time and money so they can run their business smoothly and successfully. Julia's personal interests are dancing, playing guitar, and taking hikes with the family.
